Said it had additional radio & longer battery life, with 40 Gb of space, it can take shedloads of stuff - and for about #150 less than the equivalent iPod, it turned out to be a relative bargain too. He was pleased with it - fab sound, too. What to the technophiles here think of it in comparison? ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 18 Oct 2004 18:09:50 +0100 From: "Keith Astbury" Subject: Re: [idealcopy] A Houseguest's Wish: Translations of Wire's Outdoor Miner Anyone here made the purchase yet? I love A-Z and Not To, and whilst I'm not saying this as good as those too (we'll let history judge that!), you can tell they came from the same place. And I think that people who like Ideal Copy are gonna enjoy this one a lot. So the recipe appears to be take some early CN solo stuff, add a few Wire Mk2 beats and a dash of Read&Burn guitars with just a hint of Kidney Bingoes. Play several times. Enjoy ; ) K. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 18 Oct 2004 10:33:32 -0700 (PDT) From: Derek White Subject: Re: [idealcopy] Marc Almond 'stable' after crash Yeah, me too. Regular members of the I.C. congregation will know that I'm not a *huge* fan of the guy's music (!), but I wouldn't have wished this on him. Get well soon, fella.
