Music DVDs often sell at around the GBP20 mark (before postage). 15 quid is actually pretty good value for a music DVD, especially when you take into account the additional audio CD. Yeah, no complaints here. Fifteen quid sounds a good deal to me. Actually, it'll be the first music DVD I've bought, excluding singles. I found I ended up with a number of music video's that I hardly watched, and I'm determined not to go down that route again. And the same thing goes for movies, too. Yes - I don't think you'll find many UK IC-ers complaining about this deal. Having an audio CD is a real bonus because it isn't very often I'll sit in front of the box to watch live footage of any band. Talking Heads, of course, expected us to buy their live CD and DVD separately, and then the remastered CD with extra tracks. Er, and I did! At least Led Zep had the decency to find some totally different live material for the How the West was Won CD set compared to the DVD (still love watching them do Somethin' Else at the Albert Hall in 1970 - Page wearing a leather jacket - while the front rows pogo. There's nothing new, I tell you!) ********************************************************************** This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed. A band I have had a long-time affiliation with, the New York City based Certain General will be performing in NYC on Sept. 9 as part of a 20-year Danceteria reunion. As label exec, I have certain leeway in guestlisting "industry" types. If any of my esteemed Ideal Copiers can invent (erm, vaguely justify) an industry connection and would like to see this rather unique one-off, please contact me off-list. btw - the performing quartet is the original lineup.
