Only played the first half so far but I'm not as bowled over by the experience as I expected to be. I think it's down to Black Francis' voice. It's so much gruffer these days, it takes some getting used to. I have the Victoria Curling Club, British Columbia. Pretty good I'd say - much better sound balance than last time I saw the Pixies! You can hear Frank's acoustic, which is pretty good going for them... Happily copy it for anyone, in return for one of the others.. He does sound a little gruff - certainly he's not screaming the vocals teh way he used to. But then I guess they weren't doing 2-hour sets every night.
