I could play that over and over for some reason. When I was in the States (California) I got into Godsmack. A few here know I am not a huge fan of female artists so I don't have many favourite female artists. I think I like to hear a man's voice more. I wonder if you or others on this list have heard of the following artists. I believe you should investigate them pronto. Err.... 1. Comsat Angels (sorry I couldn't resist, try 'Sleep No More' and 'Fiction first') 2. Modern Eon (Do any of you remember them? 1 album 'Fiction Tales') 3. Catherine Wheel (Get their 1st album 'Ferment') 4. Porcupine Trees (If you like Pink Floyd you will love them, I suggest their album called 'Stupid Dream') 5. VAST (Maybe the 1st and 2nd Albums) 6. Dave Navarro (from Janes Addiction and the Peppers (sure you all knew that anyway) download the song called 'Rexall' his vocals on this song is to die for if you like that kind of thing. God Machine - are great if you can find anything by them... Good luck... The singer Sheppard-Piper or whatever is now in the band called 'Sophia'... 9. Robert Plant's album 'Dreamland' 10. Last year I for the first time heard Love's album called 'Forever Changes' and was surprised that I would like that... 11. With the hype at the time, I waited some 3 or 4 years before I bought Nirvana... let things calm down a bit. All that I can add (and perhaps not very authoratatively), is that for the viscera effect, I will pick the Auteurs... a bit more varied in style, and quite good lyrics. Nirvana for me was very good rawk, but nothing to grab me... though I came to like the drumming bits a bit mroe with time. So, Nirvana: good songs... a good time, and very nice albums (production, included)... but nothing different enough for me to catapult it to a list of my faves. cheers! - -fernando > > p __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
