If I have all that Seefeel released, but do not own any Silo stuff, should I be ashamed? One thing in all of this talk about shoegazers... it seems that in the end, Neil Halstead was the one to come out as the best musician of the lot, if we are to consider that Pygmalion (last Slowdive), the Mojave 3 (not my cup of tea, but will admit that the last two are quite good) albums and his solo record span a nice range of styles, vs. anything that all others hvae done. (NB: as mentioned earlier, Ride did vary their style, even if a bit more derivative of the Byrds, and all of that.) cheers! - -fernando - --- Tim wrote: > I always thought that the true > > successors to MBV's evolution were SeeFeel. > Still, anyone on this list who is into Silo and some of the more ambient > things on Swim should be ashamed of themselves if they haven't got 'Quique' > and 'Pure Impure' on their CD Racks. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
