Ha, funny...where's the real list, then? ;) Cheers, ig. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 7 Dec 2003 12:45:25 -0000 From: "Ian B" Subject: Re: [idealcopy] Chrome Bruno It depends on which Chrome you have and which Chrome is in the boxset. Alien Soundtracks, Half Machine Lip Moves and Red Exposure, as well as the Read Only Memory EP contain some fantastic stuff. AFter that things got patchy, and eventually became unbelievably bad. After Damon Edge died (purveyor of the latter unbelievably bad stuff) Helios Creed reacquired the name. I've heard nothing from that (current) era although Graeme Rowland spoke highly of Retro Transmission. How much is it going for? Also thanks to various folk for the Talk Talk tips. And on an Alistair-related topic you were spotted and smiled at by my girlfriend a few weeks back as she walked to Victoria coach station. She has a fantastic memory for faces, having met you just the once at the Barbican; don't know if you realised it was her? (petite? Asian?) She mentioned it after I told her I got an e-xmas card from an Alastair and thought it might be yergoodself until I spotted the different spelling (I know no other Ali(a)stairs) Ian B - ----- Original Message ----- From: Alistair Tear > Kilburn National Ballroom > can't remember the year but I was there > The funny thing was Showaddywaddy were > totally aware that we didn't give a shag for them > and they reciprocated by slagging everything off > > btw John Cooper Clarke is supporting the Fall in > London this weekend, which is a rather good match imo ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 7 Dec 2003 05:02:16 -0800 (PST) From: Ari Britt Subject: [idealcopy] Happy Birthday Ed..... .......may you have many more.Ari New Yahoo!
