The last time I saw him in 2000 - solo, then joined halfway through by Donald Ross Skinner - he awesome. Really. The fact that he teetered into the audience on his 12" platforms, whilst making odd little noises to the Sleeping Gas riff and put his arm round me and then, having left me, he responded to a request for Reward by telling Donneye to play the riff, came back to my end of row seat shortly afterwards and sang part of a slowed down version of one of the greatest pop 45's EVER to *me* was merely the icing on the cake!!!
