I bought the reissue of Dare recently and am soon to buy Reproduction and Travelogue, so I'm envious of you attending this show. It's nice to know that Human League is still around and playing the right songs. > >> 1. Being Boiled > >> 2. Sound of the Crowd > >> 3. Mirror Man > >> 4. Snake > >> 5. Open Your Heart > >> 6. Unrelated: If anyone in Atlanta area way is interested in seeing Interpol at The Roxy on October 9, I'll be there. I was impressed with their show here back in December, so this one should be another good night in a larger venue this time. I've heard that the band is playing some new material on this leg of the tour. The Interpol presale is going on now on Musictoday, but the official sale date is this Saturday, I think. It's 3UKP in Fopp at the moment, so hardly an enormous risk to give it a go. (IMO it's a pretty good pop album; I like it anyway, and the Soulwax remix of "Seventeen" is inspired.) - - Andrew - -- email: andrew@lexical.org.uk http://www.lexical.org.uk/ Earth Sciences, University of Cambridge http://www.esc.cam.ac.uk/ DJ, CUR1350 - http://www.cur1350.co.uk/ blog: http://www.lexical.org.uk/blog/ ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 14 Aug 2003 03:23:49 -0400 From: Ed Special Subject: [idealcopy] interesting radio/music...links http://www.earthrid.com/links.html Ed Special ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 14 Aug 2003 03:32:18 -0400 From: Ed Special Subject: [idealcopy] Colin Interview/favorites This may be old for most of you, but it's the first I've seen it: http://www.furious.com/perfect/newman.html http://www.furious.com/perfect/staff3.html#merzbow ------------------------------ End of idealcopy-digest V6 #239 *******************************
