Pretty cool sounding though. The main thing that bothers me about "Half Eaten" is that daft dance/disco loop behind it. Where's Robert?! Probably would sound much better with real drums. >>It seems obvious that as Colin enunciates the final flaming line 'You cunt! LEAVE NOW!'<<< Ha, evertyime I listen, I am going to hear that now...... I don't hear any Bruce on "Being Watched" as The Wire review stated...apparently if reviewers don't recognize a song as being in Colin's cockney or Graham's bassey voice, it automatically gets defaulted to Bruce. They all need to listen to "The Other Window" again. I once read a 154 review that raved about Bruce's wonderful backing vocals on Map Reference. ~Michael ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 22 Apr 2003 00:35:16 EDT From: Rain19c@aol.com Subject: Re: [idealcopy] Wire & The Fall & Erase Errata Live Dan on New Dandys : >>>have you heard an advance copy, then? The track that mentions Wire is only a minute long and also mentions Michael Jackson. The rest of the album is more synth driven and less guitar oriented then their past stuff. They still rely on pastiche a bunch though.... Paul: >>> michael, are you closer to (or in) boston or chicago? are the fall slated in for ny yet? i gotta save up for my wire ticket and a few others, me thinks...<<< I'm in Boston now. No Fall Dates for NYC yet, the Chicago one is listed at the Empty Bottle site. I just hope that this US tour actually comes through......
