I was wondering if anyone had a cassette or CDR version of THE WORK - The Worst Of Everywhere cassette (Woof Records, Woof005, 1982?) that they might be willing to swap for something? I have a few CDRs worth of cassette-only stuff that I would be more than happy to swap for a burn of this. If anyone wanted to trade a burn of the Live in Japan LP, I'd love to hear that, too. And lastly if anyone could verify this Work discography, I'd appreciate it! Thanks for any help, and sorry to stray so far from the topic... Charles Hayward was indeed amazing, as was Wire - I even got Colin Newman to autograph a copy of A-Z for a friend back home in the US! I missed Wire on their first US tour because I was in the UK, so this show was the first time I'd seen them in their latest reincarnation. The affair was made all the more incredible considering the fact that there could not have been more than 30-40 people in the club when they played. I understand why, because after the aforementioned gag-inducing jam session, I had serious thoughts about heading home myself. All in all, though, very very very well worth the wait for such an "intimate" club appearance. If only they could've played longer... - ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Cc: Sent: Sunday, February 16, 2003 10:58 PM Subject: Re: [idealcopy] In Memory of Gareth Williams///inc' - WIRE-set > In a message dated 2/16/03 8:20:11 PM GMT Standard Time, d.heale@virgin.net > writes: > > > > http://www.fantompowa.net/Three%20Key%20Sound/ty_this_heat.htm > > > > This seems to be a review of the Gareth Williams memorial concert.
