I highly recommend them to everyone! Every song was better than the cd and I could understand all of the lyrics. The set was kinda short as they only have the one lp. They did play a new song. The band was tight, but there was too much time in between songs. Did anyone catch them on Peel? I've downloaded those tracks and they are very good. It's nice to see a band wearing decent clothes. The tickets were only $14. I'll go to more shows if we get more good bands in town. The only bad thing was some of the crowd. Old men doing the pogo is not impressive. The two drunken ugly girls in front of me talked to each other the whole time. Very distracting. They'll be at work Monday saying how great the show was. Perhaps they shouldn't serve alcohol at shows? Concert go-ers should have a little respect for who's on stage. I'm sure most people there paid to see them. At least I wasn't the oldest one there! Go see this great band if you get a chance! Cheers, Billy ===== /\/\/\ { . . } /\ -- -bollocks! (R)GWS Ltdhttp://www.fortunecity.com/uproar/mental/111/ Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable. I'll be seeing them this week, and I'll be doing the pogo. I am more frustrated by audiences that just stand there like jaded hipsters at some kind of art museum installation. If the music moves you, why not MOVE? People should be used to being bounced around a little at a rock show by now. Interpol ain't Low. Crowd surfers, on the other hand, suck. Crowd surfers are not experiencing the music, just taking advantage of a packed crowd to do something that is fun for them alone. It's really distracting to have to constantly look behind you to see if someone is about to fall on your head. I'm impressed with old men doing any physical activity after helping my brother-in-law carry 40-odd sheets of drywall up to his attic this morning. As to the others - ugly girls shouldn't drink. As to Interpol - there seem to be so many other interesting acts these days, I'll prolly pass on them when they come to town. Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable. Can't wait to see Low in a few weeks time in Manchester. Tiny venue accordingto my son. Dinosaur Act got a mention on Mark & Lard the other day, when a listener suggested it for their cheerfully cheesy chart challenge which that day was about old ex-DJ Jimmy Young's recent bitter outburst, though they played Jimmy Jimmy instead. > It's really distracting to have to constantly look > behind you to see if someone is about to fall on your head.
