Or something similar. Come to think of it, with time on my hands at the moment, why not? After playing pink flag in its entirety, this might 'seem obvious'. Neither the single nor the album is anything like that remix. The site has a link to the video, although it seems to take a very long time to download. Some of the other videos at the site give a better idea of DMR, especially of thier first two albums. Cago, their third, is less a cut and paste and more straightforward. If I'm not mistaken, it was recorded live in the studio with little if any touch-up. And for the other gent that asked - I have the single on CD, I don't know what other formats is comes on. Available at www.proxis.be, though, for the die-hard Colin Newman / Wire completists. > Date: Tue, 7 Jan 2003 23:27:56 -0000 > From: "Keith Astbury" > Subject: Re: [idealcopy] Re: Colin Newman remix - --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. I bought the Japanese edition with the bonus Cibo Matto track (now, most likely, the last song Cibo Matto will ever record) and remember really liking it. Until I picked up BDs previous CD - "New Rock". If you're iffy on "i" you should really try to hear "New Rock". That was the first album of theirs that really brought all of BD's strengths into focus. BD's debut CD "Captian Vapor Athletes" is worth a listen, and has a couple of classic tracks, but it's a singles compendium, and suffers slightly for that reason.
