Hi everyone, I don't know if there are any fans of Sifl & Olly on this mailing list, but there's a CD available of the songs from first season of Sifl & Olly as shown on American MTV. Liam Lynch and Matt Crocco have slowly regained rights to some of their songs, and made a pretty darn funny CD. http://www.sifl-n-olly.com has more information. They're also taking pre-orders for a DVD of the unaired Season 3 episodes, but that's probably a region 1 NTSC DVD only. For more information about Sifl & Olly, you could surf to this webpage for starters: http://www.sockheads.net (And, I'm not just suggesting that because I'm the site admin...(^_^)) Cheers, Paul ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 13 Dec 2001 01:03:32 +0000 From: Tim Subject: Re:[idealcopy] outdoor monster Paul wrote: >anyway , last night on bbc they showed a documentary about TOTP through the >ages. Splendid stuff it was too. Especially the bit about John Peel's deadpan links ("If this song isn't number one next week I'll come and break wind in your kitchen..."), the shot of almost all of Band Aid live on a Xmas TOTP from '84 with a very embarrassed Paul Weller miming to Bono's part!, Pans People doing a 'punk' dance to Pretty Vacant, Anthea Turner recalling she introduced the KLF as 'The KLM', and the bit where Chris Eubank had to announce that Suggs was at number six with Cecelia... "that was Thuggs at number Thix with Thethelia..." Sir James Saville does look more and more like a sex offender though...he was wearing what looked like Superman pyjamas, open at the chest. " you gotta play this my son , its gonna be monster , >monster............." . And the promise of a night with a 'young friend' no doubt! Nowadays its probably all done by indoor-sunglasses wearing young Nathen Barley types who just ply the likes of Sara Cox with moutains of cocaine in order to get the new Muse single A-listed. > and i wonder whose idea it was to hype outdoor miner >so blatantly????? just a thought , p So what did they do to hype it? ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 12 Dec 2001 17:56:00 -0800 (PST) From: Ari Britt Subject: Re: [idealcopy] All tomorrow's parties Mark wrote: Paul, > ps so c'mon , somebody tell me what a bruce ringtone sounds > like............... gngngnngnngnngnnnhckhkhkchchkhckhckhchcchkchchbbbbzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzhzhz hhzhzhzhhzhzeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee You missed an e Mark!Seasons greetings to all.Ari Check out Yahoo!
