I read some opinions on DM list where there was a competition who will spit more on her, In fact just 20% was slightly supportive. I thought that was competition who is big(ger) DM fan ... not heard nothing from her, i affraid .. btw, DM tour is over and i wait to see what will happen' with Dave solo album and planned colaborations with PJ Harvey, etc .... and i was very interested in which course will go DM. Alan Wilder told recently that DM is solo-projekt of martin L. Gore which have sense. if you excluded Dave as manequin ( ha, someone told this at list ) and Fletch hand-clapping what is there.. i like DM, don' t take me wrong, even like Exciter, it wasn' t play on safe we discussed that month ago.. mileta ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 10 Nov 2001 09:07:41 +0100 From: "Mileta Okiljevic" Subject: Re: [idealcopy] another useless poll to satisy my whimsical curio sity... He actually had good running commentary throughout though, as > usual, Toronto was as "polite" (read unresponsive) as a Japanese audience. in between days is very good song, and i like The Cure also very much..hey, i like to death first stage closing with Pornography.. after that i learned a lesson and just pay attention to avoid some albums.. it is obvious that one is good for me ,next one isn' t .. i think it's time to not so good one, but i look for that acoustic set.. but, why number 672 sequal to best of/ greatest hits sort of album..!!?? i heard fuss about 3 or 4 CD b-sides comp and previously unreleased and out-takes and why wasn' t that... some contract troubles similar to banshees.. btw, i know that Robert has complete solo album and ... don' t get me wrong Cut Here isn' t bad, i like it ( it's play on safe, isn' t !? ) but just two new songs.. and that New Order/Cure "rip-offs" it's antics, ha, ha.. remember Forest & Sunrise.. thanx for Lloyd Cole info's, i haven' t heard about them for a while.. mileta > > I am assuming the Poe that Mr. Frog-Mon refers to is the David > onemanoneacousticguitarheldupbyashinylaser-etchedstrapthatonlypalestobigbrig > htteeth Poe from NYC that opened for Lloyd. I must agree with Mark about Crocodiles and guitar(s) impact of it... in fact i listen all Bunnymen CD's i got last week, and Crocodiles still make my day !! There was one extremely good interview Bunnymen gave to our yugoslavian music magazine just before Heaven Up Here and i will search it if us still here or there. I read many interviews of them, but i think this one was best . . Ian & Pete was in mood and it seems that interview for yugoslavian magazine inspired them ( you know there wasn't ordinary questions like they answered millions time ) and they talked about "all that psychedelic heritage connected with punk attitude and Ian The Fall's following" totally relaxed.. i think that most obvious Bunnyfans was early Wedding Present & Mighty Lemon Drops. Also, understand that HUH sessions, i heard Over The Wall on bonus disc of Evergreen. I have had similar situations, when heard demos and then final results ! No matter how they sound, somehow i was catched by early versions. But i still rank HUH as most better ( for me, of course..) and i was happy that Hugh Jones produced it. I like his productions , and i adore how he done No Dark Things with that guitar- screaming-finish..i think that he done job carefully and precise, and succed to avoid sterile production. Which is case with Grey album, no matter of quality of songs.. Near Lillywhite & Hedges Hugh Jones was my favourite producer from that time. I like his job to Clock DVA, Pale Saints & Kitchens Of Distinctions. mileta ------------------------------ End of idealcopy-digest V4 #339 *******************************
