Thing I bought in the HMV sale that I'm pleased with: Faust IV - (#5) Thing I bought in HMV sale that can go straight to the charity shop - the best of Visage (#4) I saw Stereolab at the Forum in London five or six years back and was pretty unimpressed/bored. Great. If that is taken up by record labels world-wide I'll be so happy. After all, after spending twelve quid on an album, I'll be real happy spending another six downloading the MP3s off the Web. I thought the whole point about current technology (like Apple's 'digital hub' idea and Microsoft's subsequent ripping-off of said idea) was about convergence? Now it seems idiots like Sony want to ensure all the stuff remains separated. The thing is, this won't stop pirates anyway, only hassle typical consumers. I'm so angry about this I could just spit.
