OK, on a similar tack (and thanks for indulging me) I have a few CDs in the old CDV format (not VCD) which I've never had the equipment to play. There's a Durutti Column one ("When the World") and (don't laugh) a FineYoung Cannibals promo which I just keep for reference purposes (honest). My PC is pretty good but it cannot read the video files on these discs. Should it be able to and, if so, is there any software available that would enable me to view these? Leyton is my lucky charm i must admit. i worried waht will be with sport chamspionships if there will be war, and as possibility terrorist attacks. football stadium can be target, very easily.. i think mark, that Leeds is no. 1 for title of champion in England. Arsenal & Liverpool could be behind LU ad danger.. i think with all respect that MU is not serious this year.. look that defender, they was outakes from clubs they're coming !! It's a hybrid media - the audio portion is digital, but the video portion is actually analog video with digital sound. In other words, it's an audio CD with a LaserDisc section. You cannot read the video portion with a computer - the LaserDisc portion is not data. (In a side note, audio Compact Discs spin between 230 to 580 RPM. The LaserDisc portion of a CDV spins at 2700 RPM. Whenever my LD player played a CDV, it sounded like a jet taking off.) Your best bet is to either buy a combi-LD player (CD/LD/CDV is how the player is labeled) or to have a friend tape the signal. If you had a computer with a analog video digitizer, you could digititize the video signal and then work with it that way. Also, be aware that there are PAL and NTSC CDVs, just like there are PAL and NTSC LDs. The audio portions are regular audio CD, so you can play them any CD player, including PAL or NTSC LaserDisc combination players. I agree, Leeds is not in god form as last year and still won !! i was expecting that Liverpool & Arsenal will do better, but Liverpool lost home, and Arsenal wasn' t won some what i was expected !! Chealsea is bunch of tourists, so nobody take them seriously.. I agree that Leeds need more strikers but i think that will be OK !! Mind that i don' t support anyone, just is my opinion.. i also followed some other championships and my anticipation can be very right...!! for example i wasn' t bet over weekend but gave advice to my friends to play on Rome Vs. Juventus ( nobody believe in that ) and i was right !! shame he hasn' t courage ! so, i think that if Leeds succeded to won first half of championship he will not be under MU.. Arsenal can be serious problem, you know them, they have very good team, and Liverpool also.. after Liverpool won in Newcastle they will have self-confidence too.. For them is not good that they played non-stop in Champ.League If you will see statistics you will notice that teams who want to peak of UEFA league, was always bad in home championships..(Real, Nantes) Unless, they are from Italia..in last few seasons they are bad on both tracks..look at Lazio, did you see worst team in last time.. they cannot scored !! > > >> i think with all respect that MU is not serious this year.. > look that defender, they was outakes from clubs they're coming !!<< > > I wouldn't write them off. THeir defence may be poor (they've let in 13 goals > in 7 games, with only 1 clean sheet...Leeds have let in 2 goals, both in > matches we won, away) but look at how ManU destroyed Spurs. They're still > strong in attack. I hope they concentrate on the Champions League - we might > have a chance then as we're only in UEFA, which means fewer matches. Attack is their strongest point, but always was . They didn' t in fact need Van Nistelrooy, already have such excellent striker. For example Solskjeir in on the bench. When i heard what defence player Ferguson want i thought " Oh My God, this man is going crazy !!" Campo from Real Madrid, maybe worst defender in Europe, and stupidiest also, and slowest !! I think that MU was stronger because he wasn' t came! Blanc is nice man, but... And team who has clown on goal instaed goalkeeper must be punished !!! In Champioship League they won vs. Lille in extra time and Deportivo crushed them in second half.. They also have Roy Keane, rumour is that some players ask club to let him ago.. Did you hear what he did to Nistelrooy in La Coruna !? Spurs vs. MU.. When friend called me in halftime and told me did i hear result, i answered him - Well, you' ll se MU will won..that only can happen to Spurs.. I feel pity to Simon Raymonde, Lush and few other people in Spurs, but i will rank them with Aston Villa, Middlesborough and Blackburn ( did you know that here in Yugoslavia exist official fan club of Blackburn !?) > > >>Mark what about that LU in Formula One !! >> > > It's not F1 - it's a much cheaper series in whihc all the teams have the same > specification of car. I don't think even ManU could afford F1...almost all > the teams are now owned by the big car companies. As i thought !! I like F1, McLaren is my team.. Coulthard rule !! I hope that next year when Hakkinen will be out, Coulthard will won, which will be hard near Schumacher and Montoya with better car !!
