Its called 'Let it Come Down'. If its on Ebay its probably a promo, as the official release is 17th September (possibly 24th now). I've heard the LP and it is stunning. The 'song' remains the same from Spacemen 3 days ("Jesus forgive me for taking too many drugs" is still the main lyrical theme). However the new twist this time is he has added a preposterously huge orchestra and choir to the mix, and added a few (gasp!) chord changes. It also contains 3 or 4 fairly coherent pop songs with choruses and middle 8s, vocal harmonies, and at times it kind of swings! ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 4 Sep 2001 12:49:43 +0200 From: Woerner Frank Subject: AW: [idealcopy] Spiritualized >-----Urspr|ngliche Nachricht----- >Von: timrobinson@cwcom.net [mailto:timrobinson@cwcom.net] >Gesendet: Dienstag, 4. It has three tracks, the longest of which is the 'Boriginal' a trance rock groove based on the riff from Mekons' 'Where Were You'. The other 2 tracks stuck on either end of it are remixes by Eye. It's one of their best releases and only came out in Japan, where mine was bought. I've never seen a copy in a UK shop. This might have been what Paul heard on the radio. Lock up your hats!
