rexommendations:
for wire/gilbert types - the older the recording, the better
nonesuch reissued some of the earlier pieces - music in contrary motion is a
fave
music in 12 aparts is nice too

the phillip glass ensemble live in the 80s was one of the loudest
performances i have ever attended
the effect wass much different than a quiet spin of the record

all-in-all, glass is a fairly binary proposition
i have not encountered anyone to date who was indifferent to his work

cluster - sowiesoso (sky/gyroscope)
savath and savalas - folk songs for trains, trees and honey (warp)
coil (timemachines) - bonus cd from Musik to Play in the Dark 2 (chalice) but 
                                 mine is a cd-r including:  
                                 (tracks: everythings keeps dissolving /

                                              chasms / 20' to 2000 ) thanks
