Half Mute, Holly Wars, Divine any other you can get.. I saw Tuxedo Moon in december in Belgrade at their return and come back tour " Half-Mute 2000" with DJ Hell as support. It was dream come true, they play all favourite ones, there was number of encores, 1500 people ( can you believe it !!) . They couldn' t believe it !!! And DJ HELL has a set which include Snakefingers version of Model, etc, etc.. take your pick, but Desire is my favourite one.. you can start with that one, and i hope you will became infatuated with them !! rgds, mileta ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 11 Aug 2001 12:27:05 EDT From: MarkBursa@aol.com Subject: Re: Fw: [idealcopy] now spinning Robert, << does anyone recommend any Tuxedomoon cds? >> Start with either Desire or Holy Wars... What is your opinion about Flowers.. i just saw video for It's Allright, i wasn' t in mood to judge it after " hear" on video.. mileta ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 12 Aug 2001 03:24:47 +0100 From: Tim Subject: [idealcopy] OT: Richard H Kirk rLYNN was listening to: Blacworld (richard h. kirk) "Subdueing Demons in South Yorkshire" Is this any good? Being a South Yorkshire lad with a few Demons to sudue myself I love the title. But Richard H Kirk releases so much stuff its ridiculous. He really does challenge that quality/quantity dictum. His two LPs on Warp were both complete classic masterpieces, (Virtual State was the record that got me into Kirk) Chant to Jah was good fun. 'The Conversation' was credited to Cabaret Voltaire but sounds like a Kirk solo effort and is pure electro perfection. However he also done some rather dull, pedestrian stuff among his various alter egos. The Electronic Eye stuff was pretty lightweight IMHO. Agents With False Memories was OK but nowhere near his peak. So its this a good record? Tim - ---------------------------------- now playing: Fennesz: Endless Summer (Gorgeous, Melodic, Shimmering, sizzling evocation of a long, hot summer that we haven't had but Number One in my house again this week, despite the rain and wind). Kettel: Dreim (Crisp, Funky and tasty electronica like Plaid/Black Dog Productions but more minimal, but no less melodic) Kid 606: Mess To Compress (two live sets on CD limited edition of 500 (how arsey is that?) ....and wouldn't you know it, its the best thing he's ever done...the contrary bastard!.) _________________________ The Kids Are Alright http://www.kidsindestructible.com ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 11 Aug 2001 22:36:02 EDT From: RLynn9@aol.com Subject: Re: [idealcopy] OT: Richard H Kirk i think Blacworld is a much better effort than some of the weaker stuff recently....i like the chant to Jah cd too..it is great electo-dub fun!....
