I presume your graphics are influenced by comic books/graphic novels? Thats not something I am at all interested in/knowledgeable about so I wouldn't judge your particular aesthetic. If you are asking *why* you should copy Wire's aesthetic, well, its a bloody good one to copy isn't it! (Apart from the sleeves to Manscape and The First Letter which are among the most dreary and unappealing I have ever seen.) Apart from those, their sleeve designs are wonderful.
