My postings are made at about 8.30 am GMT. At first I was unaware that the deadline must be around 9.00 am GMT. So I just get past the post on this. Whether, Charles or myself "intend to infect list members and ultimately the world at large with long finned, exctatic firemusic breathing parasites. the final phase of this infection reduces all perception to an endless loop of the harmonics from the introduction to roundabout plinnnnnnnnnnggggggg plinnnnnnnnnnggggggg plinnnnnnnnnnggggggg plinnnnnnnnnnggggggg" Well that's an interesting supposition. But I think I'd like to infect list members with a little more than 4/4 music or drrrrr/grrrrrrrrrr/ping music. over and out ===== kevin eden wmo limited, po box 112, stockport, cheshire, sk3 9fd, uk e-mail: wmouk@yahoo.com web: www.wiremailorder.com "dreams that money can buy" Make international calls for as low as $.04/minute with Yahoo! But I think >I'd like to infect list members with a little more >than 4/4 music or drrrrr/grrrrrrrrrr/ping music. what, like Wire kevin? i can only speak personally here, but, MAYBE you presume that the playlists i send in are the 'sum total' of my collection. as someone who used to do a radio show that played, for instance, Paul Schutze, the Sabri Brothers, Roots Manuva, Samba Mapangala, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Pavement, Portuguese Fado music, Blind Willie McTell, Labradford, Italian brass bands, Terry Riley, the Terem Quartet and Half Man Half Biscuit in one night, maybe i'm an exception... i happen to like 4/4 music an awful lot and would probably choose to listen to that kind of stuff maybe 8 out of 10 times at home, but i'm very aware of the broad spectrum of music thats out there, as i'm sure, a lot of people on the list are. i'm also aware that there's maybe a few that aren't aware, or aren't bothered, which is fine, we both know they're missing out. our playlists merely point in a certain direction, whether that's towards enlightenment, or up the garden path, is down to personal taste or lack of spending power i think. last night's listening...
