Williams?? hmmmm...is it were she's shooting ping pong balls out of her hootch?? I saw the Plasmatics here in LA a looong time ago. The late Ms. Williams was wearing impossibly high heels, a tiny red leather mini, a thin white g-string under the mini, and two strips of black tape across each nipple. There was no car on the stage to be blown up, although we did get to see film footage of that during the numbers. She did, however, break out the chain saw and cut up some guitars and furniture. At one point, while humping the mic stand which caused her g-string to slip to the side and reveal the aforementioned ping pong ball launcher, she in(?)advertently leaned a wee too far into those of us at the front of the stage. My friend John took her right wrist and I her left and we yanked her off the stage and into the pit! Well she lost the black tape and the g-string before order was restored but she was quite a good sport about it, threatening to cut off our cocks with the still-present chain saw. Friends, THIS is what a rock and roll concert was all about! On a side note to Frank: her tits were as hard as rocks (well boulders, considering the size) as she had had silicone injections and not implants. Still, it was a sad day when she passed away. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 26 Jul 2001 11:14:21 EDT From: MrSodium@aol.com Subject: [idealcopy] Re: [idealcopy OT] I'm 18 Howard Spencer writes: > Steve Reich - Music for 18 musicians (love it) Not to rekindle the whole "what is music debate," but one of my favorite performances was seeing Steve Reich. He and a couple of the ensemble started the show by simply walking on stage. As the applause from the audience died, the performers began "Clapping." It was a wonderful reversal of audience and performer, and a lovely demonstration of rhythmic nonmelodic music. It only got better from there. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 26 Jul 2001 11:08:45 -0500 From: "dan bailey" Subject: Re: [idealcopy] Musical dreams anyone? hmmm ... i don't think "tory cabinet minister" carries the religious connotations it would over here. nonetheless, truly touching story. dan, blown away by what's this for back in '81 & also, when i acquired it a few months later, the debut ... the others never really seized me, though >well...that's funny you should mention that...he DID sound like a >minister...as a matter of fact he was reading some sort of scripture to my >friend....he did mention Ben in the liner notes of the next cd though, that >was quite nice ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 26 Jul 2001 20:58:38 +0200 From: "Frank Jürgen Wörner" Subject: Re: AW: [idealcopy] Musical dreams anyone? - ----- Original Message ----- From: To: ; Sent: Thursday, July 26, 2001 5:04 PM Subject: Re: AW: [idealcopy] Musical dreams anyone? > dreaming of Wendy O. The grounds keeper at the crematorium was giving me a hard time. he said something like (in a very thick Scottish brogue) "His parents still come here every now and then and take away all the crap that the fans leave behind". From what I gathered from the director of the place, Ian's grave is a very popular tourist sight for fans all over the world." Don't you think if Ian could rise out of his grave he'd twat these nerds?. And as for Macclesfield being a VERY SMALL village? I've never seen a VERY SMALL village with a dirty great council estate in the middle of it, and a major intercity rail terminal. Ignorant shites.
