Paul W - no words to say on the Residents RFH show?
What is there to say! Brilliant, as usual. In fact, I've been listening to a
live recording of it, only this morning. I shall be trying to recreate the
concert at home tonight - playing the live recording, and flicking to the
corresponding songs on the DVD!
Looking forward to the next ICKY Flix concert in London, in September.

Down at local job centre in queue.
Govt approved muzak included a song with the chorus
'Ain't gonna work no more'
Quite amusing.

Subject: [idealcopy] more suspicion about wire in used record stores...and a playlist
if you may recall, i posted last week how surprised i was to find an original copy of the lobe album in a used bing for $7.
so..i go back to the store last friday, and what do i find in the used bin this time? hide by malka spigel AND cryptic audio by dol-lop.
i am glad they were there (saves me a trip to swimhq.com) although i am still wondering who in boston is selling off their wire/swim collection. first whore, then lobe, now this.
unless its just this stores way of trying to get rid of their backlog of swim material (ha! like they have too many copies of my pet fish)
anyone hear that aphex twin (finally) has a new album coming out in september (its on nme.com today)? intersting to hear where richard is going these days...
and since it is all the rage on the list these days..here my playlist for the past few days:
sparklehorse - its a wonderful life
brian eno - drawn from life
gong - caembert electrique
scott walker - scott 4
mansun - six (always a staple)
the chameleons – strange times
new order - technique
sebastien tellier – l’incroyable verite
broadcast – work & non-work
sleater kinney - dig me out
gorky’s zygotic mynci - barafundle
paul weller – heliocentric

liked her when she was doing songs like wuthering heights & running up that

Hello,
My name is Marty. I'm new to the list. Reading the below message I am not
sure if someone is kidding or not. But, Running up that hill and Wuthering
Heights are both songs by Kate Bush. There is definitely a similarity in
style and voice both however.
Cheers,
Marty
