I make a point of listening to everything that ends up on Wireviews at least twice. The fact that I am into most of the material means I tend to listen to most releases many times prior to the review. I can honestly say that In Esse was the only time where I felt like I was atoning for any sins I may have committed. Even taking it into the realms of 'noise' or 'experiment', I felt no need for the release. The shorter tracks are better because they are shorter, but that's about it. 45 minutes of fuzz. Amazing. Thing is, Ab Ovo *was* a good release, as it has some structure. I guess it depends whether or not you enjoy the aural equivalent of staring at white static on the television... >>>I'm trying to think of a use for it. Maybe >>>that is the point.... Well, it looks nice next to Ab Ovo on my shelf. Would probably make a nice coaster. Cover is minimal and very well done. Erm...
