If anyone has any burning questions for Kevin Eden concerning WMO or the Wire biography 'Everybody Loves A History' please mail them to me off list before Sunday 11am GMT. 2.Anyone listened to the whole stream of Colin's 1.5 hr net radio stint on www.totallyradio.com? I ask because as he was being questioned about Elastica (yawn) my connection went down & it all took so long to load to begin with that I don't know if I'll have time to hear the rest of it before the end of the weekend. Anyway I heard Colin play a very good new track of his, 'Lowdown' with extra guitar from Garage Sunday, an early surprisingly guitary Magnetophone 7" and a pretty mediocre track from Wisdom of Harry. Apparently the godawful Beta Band are also featured later... So... Are there anymore exclusive Wire or Newman or Swim tracks after the 50min mark? Please reply off list as I'm on digest! Also featured - Silo - a vocal track from Alloy Malka Spigel - One Junkboy (not bad... never heard 'em b4) Colin - new one with good music but quite annoying vocals Wire - Crazy About Love (Colin's remix) - worth listening just for this! ...Never would've recognised it without the bass line Emiliana somebody I've never heard of and don't much care to again Wire - 12 Times You No Beta Band! (phew) Colin's album seems to be far from finished. Also some Wire news: They will be curating a fortnight of art events in Whitechapel London in the Autumn. They will be only the second rock band to play the Venice Biennale. Something is happening in the Spring. They plan to put out another 7" at some point. A compilation of the Albini sessions and Garage recordings may yet be released on Pink Flag. Hope I haven't spoiled it for anyone yet to listen!
