Ok the main thrust is that this weekend (all weekend) if you go and listen to the "live" stream you can hear a radio show I'm co-hosting with Claire Kember. The choice of music was all provided by me and there are some new unreleased wire & newman tracks plus some old swim faves and some other things I like from outside of the immediate swim/ wire circle (including - junk boy/ wisdom of harry/ magnetophone...) The show lasts an hour and a half. However you won't be able to listen to it on a mac as the site has a custom audio interface based on windows media player unless you use a PC emulator.... Anyway, please pass this information on to whoever you feel might be interested. cheers Colin - -- swim~ PO Box 3459 London SW19 6ES Fax : +44 (O)208.789.0636 e--mail: Swim@posteverything.com aol: SWIM LONDON world wide web: http://www.swimhq.com posteverything: http://www.posteverything.com/swim ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 7 Feb 2001 12:14:40 +0200 From: "giluz" Subject: RE: [idealcopy] OT - web storage for songs...and some questions! > PSS - picked up the Fall's "SeminaLive" album (my > second, so far) and quite like it! Thank you all for > the referrals! sounds during those shows?> You picked up Frenz Experiment before that, right? I wonder what your reaction would be to a truly superb Fall album - I do like those two, but they're certainly not the best Fall albums around. giluz ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 07 Feb 2001 11:46:58 -0000 From: "ian jackson" Subject: Re: [idealcopy] OT: Best Bass/PIL on TOTP2 nik wrote :- Well spoken! Come to think of it - another former GoFer, Gail Ann Dorsey, is very good, too. sorry nik, but i think the person who replaced Dave Allen in Gof4 was Sara Lee, who also played with Fripp's League of Gentlemen. Re PIL's T.O.T.P.2 appearance, i freaked when i realised it was Hugo Burnham playing/miming drums but wasn't that John McGeogh on guitar in a dodgy hat??? anyone??? ian.s.j. _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 07 Feb 2001 08:27:16 -0500 From: "Syarzhuk Kazachenka" Subject: [idealcopy] Re: More Pistols/ Wire's Exploded Views >I've haven't checked recently, but musikweb.com had copies for quite >some time.
