I hadn't heard a lot by Arab Strap and basically bought it becasue it was in the Tower Records sale. I cringe throughout the opening 30 secs. I don't think any Manscape track is even close to making into the Wireviews top 40 A List, with the exception of Craftman's Touch which bobbles in and out now and again... But I agree that Torch It is overrated. One review I saw described that track as somewhat flaccid. I'd agree, and tended to skip it when I used to play it a lot. far and away my favourite tracks are What Do You See and You Hung Your Lights/Craftsmans Touch I have to agree with you about Craftsmans Touch . It may be my ATF. I found it so mesmeric one time that whilst listening to it on the Walkman, it is the only Wire track that I have fallen asleep to (whilst on a sunbed!) I think I know, but before I type something really dumb, I better make sure. The american edition silk skin paws 3" CD I have is in a thin-line full size jewel case. In fact, with the exception of Eardrum Buzz 3", which came in a small cardboard/heavy paper sleeve, all of the Enigma 3" CDs were in 5" single plastic jewel boxes. Hi Paul, Yeah - those things are everywhere. I think we call them "DayTimers" here in America. I was pretty sure that a filofax was a daytimer, but I thought I'd better check to make sure. the uk edition of silk skin paws opened out to >be the size of a standard filofax sheet and had the 6 holes punched in so you >could file it. in the mid/late 80's a filofax was seen as a classic yuppie >piece of equipment. so you might think not very wire at all. > Now, if they'd only done Small Black Reptile in one of these editions...Oh the irony! (^_^) >actually i have real trouble playing 3" cd's , neither my home or car player >will accept them. thankfully they seem to have died now as a concept. p Did you try them with the adapters? Luckily, most of my players deal with them okay. They're still around - but mostly as CD ROM give aways. There's a special 3" format where they cut-off the top and bottom portions so that the overall size is that of a business card.
