The horror ... =========== Back in the very early 80's, my older sister moved out of the house and stole that record from me... needless to say my anger didn't last long because I never replaced that album, bought the CD, or any other Journey release as well. I seem to remember that album as featuring a group picture of the band... one of them appeared to have a cucumber stuffed down his trousers... much like Derek Smalls and Al Gore! Infinity by Journey was one of those albums where ownership was required if you were a teenager in the US in the late 70's. Other titles in this not-so-illustrious category include: * Boston's first album (hell all of their albums sounded the same) * Frampton Comes Alive (ugh!) * Aerosmith's 'Toys in the Attic' * Led Zepplin II * The Eagles 'Hotel California' * Fleetwood Mac's 'Rumors' God, music in the US, in the 70's, SUCKED ASS! My only saving grace is that I don't own any of these albums in any form today! I can blame previous ownership of them on youthful mistakes! Only within the last few months have I acquired, for about 70 cents, a vinyl Rumors -- an act for which I have absolutely no explanation whatsoever. Bad enough that I no longer flinch when one of that album's myriad hits come over the radio.
