What it does is scan your hard disk for wav files, treats them and plays them randomally together in groups of five. The result is very surprising and raises lots of interesting questions (can music be made by a machine, etc.). I think Wire members would be interested in that as well (if they're not already familliar with that). Download it and don't be afraid to fill in the registraton form. This is a private person and not a company. cheers, giluz ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 24 Oct 2000 11:01:38 +0200 From: "giluz" Subject: [idealcopy] Sound raider followup (off-topic) You probably need the URL in order to get there, I think: http://195.92.244.48/ giluz ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 24 Oct 2000 10:16:38 +0100 From: Chris.Ray@medas.co.uk Subject: RE: [idealcopy] [OT] Godspeed You Black Emperor! >>And I'll be at the gig on the Sunday at the Scala, London. >So will I, but since getting tickets, I've heard the new record and blimey, it sounds like hoary old prog. rock to me.... Very good electronic record. Phantom Band - This is a Jaki Liebezeit band circa 1984, recorded at Can studios and produced and mixed by Holger Czukay. I didn't expect it to be much, but it's really good. Any can fan would like that. You Fantastic - Does anyone know anything about them? Weird album, not all of it's good, but you've got lots of everything. I think they're from Chicago. giluz ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 24 Oct 2000 12:27:28 -0500 From: Michael Flaherty Subject: [idealcopy] MZUI on Ebay Someone went for it ... $60.
