just got thru the post off ebay an album i'd been curious about for years ; 
"mainstream" by quiet sun. this was made in 75 by phil manzanera in a time 
out from roxy. the band included singer/drummer charles hayward from this 
heat and also eno. some of the tracks are a bit prog but a lot of it really 
does sound like a roxy/this heat mixture which is quite something. well worth 
a listen (i see other copies on ebay regularly , this only cost me $7)

one i didn't buy was a bootleg "live at krefeld" by this heat , went for a 
mere $72. anyone got/heard this? worth it?

as often happens , that expensive luna single has flushed another copy out. 
$9.99 and no bidders as yet....

but no need to waste yr dough when you can get the real thing , there's a 
copy of "not about to die" currently at $20 and no bidders. now that's what 
i'd call a wise investment.p
