Ali G is in it as a driver/dancer. Music wise it should go to No1. She is blonde and curly. I'm the same age as Madonna and wish her well. If she had a receding hairline she might find the re-invention a little more tricky. I also saw the Garbage video recently where they fly about as in a video shoot em up game. Very clever and award winning stuff. I like Garbage but find their music rather formulaic. I don't remember music videos very well for what ever reason so cannot contribute a list. If anyone's in New York and is interested: JUNE 1 - SEPTEMBER 15 Volume - an Exhibition of Sound "Volume will be combined with the DJ series held in the outdoor sculpture galleries. Volume will fill the interior first floor north and west wing galleries. Comprised of sound-installations and audio-pieces, the indoor exhibition will combine essential historical works by artists such as Alvin Lucier and John Cage along with audio works by contemporary artists addressing the current trend of "sound art." The catalog, on CD-ROM, will include a text introduction by Max Neuhaus, one of the pioneers of sound art. Sound artists will be presented in dual formation: walking through the space of P.S.1's expansive first floor north and west wing galleries the visitor will be exposed to minimal visual stimuli. Only the audio delivery system (headphones in the north, floor to ceiling speakers in the west) will be visible in the main galleries. In addition to the headphone stations, the works will be queued into "broadcast" in the speaker room so all works may be auditioned by the public in an acoustic space. I admit I bought "Ray of Light". Both my husband and I played it a lot last year and some this year too. I don't consider myself a Madonna fan, but liked that CD (most of it). She is definitely a pioneer and she gets props for that. I only have one Garbage CD, and I liked that a lot too. The first one, not the most recent one. katherine - ----- Original Message ----- From: Alan Gray To: Sent: Thursday, August 03, 2000 9:25 AM Subject: New Madonna > I saw a snip of the new Madonna video on TV this morning. > > I don't remember music videos very well for what ever reason so > cannot contribute a list. > > Alan > > ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 3 Aug 2000 14:25:19 -0400 From: "Katherine Pouliot" Subject: angelfish Yes, as a matter of fact I do -- well, I know I did anyway. I may have given it away last year to my brother-in-law who likes Garbage more than I do.
