I love that part. i finally got some of the demos with a couple different versions of that song(s). Is Girls At Our Best a dark or goth type of band,i always thought of them as a girl pop group, maybe i stereotyped them. As far as dark music, what about Tones On Tail? I love just about all of thier recordings and three live shows i just got,all from 84(the only year they toured). We used to do MDA and listen to Tones On Tail,i enjoyed it. The Three Johns,i only had a couple of thier recordings,Atom Bop and the 12"EP English White Boy Engineer, both very good. MArch voilets were good, but that damn song of thiers,The Family That Ate Rock n Roll, always made me laugh because it seemed so silly. I only had the Snakedance 12" and Radiant Boy on the cassette comp "The Angels Are Coming" I never got into the Mekons,i just bought thier Sporting Life 12",which did bring back some memories,so i guess i liked them, but didn't know it.I thought it was a different song called Sporting Life, but it must be a different band that does it.
