Not seen any live albums in the stores near me though. The Chameleons live recordings usually have inferior sound quality but I hear that a new live album from the recent tour (which I was witness to) will soon be available. A good live album, if you like the band, is Depeche Mode's 101. It really manages to capture the atmosphere of a stadium gig. The 3 hour film is also excellent. Big favourites of mine in my teens, but faded from view quite rapidly in the early eighties. However, on recent webtrawls I've noticed the release of two CDs in the late 90s, entitled Gigantic Days and Revolution By Numbers. The former was also the title of a low sound quality cassette whilst the band were without contract in the mid eighties. However, I can find nothing about these CD releases. I don't expect that they are the product of re-activation. However, does anybody out there have any information, particularly track listing? Thanks in advance. I suppose i should continue my old age credentials by mentioning that I saw The Stranglers @ The Roundhouse Chalk Farm in March '77. If I'm not mistaken, they were supported by the Jam and the Cortinas! Dont ya just love age folks! Also, don't forget that the only sighting of My Bloody Valentine besides a few instrumental tracks on the Offbeat (Red Hot and Blue) compilation was on the Whore CD, playing Map Ref, etc. And, in my opinion, a good cover it was, too.
