I *think* they were basically Metal Urban in cover-band form -- the LP I've got, Wall of Noise (an early Rough Trade release), consists of nicely noisy, brutal covers of things like Sister Ray, No Fun, I Can't Control Myself (just heard the Buzzcocks' version on the Mute reissue of Time's Up, by coincidence) & Out of the Question. And then there's the Metal Boys, who I believe were also sort of a Metal Urbain alter ego. >> I think Metal Urbain split into two bands, Dr Mix and the Remix and Metal Boys....all of which sounded pretty much the same!
