Reports suggest it will be worth the >price, and then some. Would anyone going to the RFH show be willing to pick up an extra CD for me? I would *desperately* like to get one. I can't offer any Wire stuff for trade, but I have a small CD-R bootleg collection of my other favorite bands (New Order, The Cure, The The). Otherwise, I could pay you for the cost, shipping, and your time. Please consider helping out a fellow Wire fan stuck on the wrong side of the Atlantic... thanks! - -- Jason Borchers jasonmb@calweb.com ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 23 Feb 2000 03:40:08 -0800 (PST) From: kevin eden Subject: off line WMO (UK) will be off line from 4.00pm (UK time) 23rd February until Wednesday 1st March. Otherwise a few of us will be in a nearby pub watching the game, missing Magnetophone and hoping Wire are on after 9.45pm. See you there. Too true. On a different note, I just purchased tickets for the D.C. show online from Ticketmaster and wanted to know if any kind souls could possibly recommend a decent hotel in the area ($60-100) as well as any other activities. My wife and I are driving there from Cleveland to stay the weekend, and I figured we could take in some sights as well as sounds. Please reply offlist. Also, I noticed Hovercraft listed as the opening band in Seattle. Any idea who is opening at other shows? Cheers. Eric "Is it filled with a pox?" "A pox!"
