Well, if you can all make it to the balcony you shall find my goodself sipping champagne through a straw. Red carnations are out this year so I'll be the one wearing the big grin. By the way, does anyone know if there will be European dates later in the year? The Fire Station is...an old fire station. It's not reallly a pub - it has a nice but fairly expensive restaurant inside and a bar aarea at the front. Alternatively there is an area about 400yds from the RFH called Gabriel's Wharf which has restaurants and bars - cheaper pizza restaurants etc. The main bar in the RFH is pretty god though - and the food there is OK as well. Plenty of options if we all want to meet up. On the other hand my wife (whose two favorite artists are Ella Fitzgerald and Tupak Shakur - go figure) likes the Fall alot. And last night when we rented Detroit Rock City (a documentary about my teen years) she was tossing her hair along with the Sweet. She's not really into 20th Century classical tho ;) d __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Talk to your friends online with Yahoo! What I remember vaguely from the music and fashion press at the time is probably a bit coarse and maybe even unfair . . . . >> The anorak is the favoured garment of the good old British Train Spotter... A strangely futile and somewhat existential pastime....and nothing to do with films about Scottish smackheads either.... Train spotters are a curiously British phenomenon... their hobby is collecting the numbers of railway engines. Fashion, life etc passes them by - they usually live at home with their mums (despite being 45 years old) and wear anoraks to keep the cold and rain out as they stand on railway station platforms all day writing down the train numbers. Anorak simply became another word for train spotter. Hope this helps!!!! Mark (Never done it..Not once... I think it's one of the only truly loud, fun and catchy throwaway musical purchases I discovered in 99...I love to blast it as if I were 19 years old again (alas, I turned 32 this year...old enough to have seen Wire for the first time for the "Ideal Copy" tour at Maxwell's in Hoboken...to think someone would be reminiscing about seeing them on their second incarnation, to the horrors of those that saw them in 77...).
