Myself, I don't have much of a love for Chairs Missing/Pink Flag (horrors!!) like what seems like the majority of the active members of this list. - -Yoshi matsumoto” I’m just the opposite: I buy everything Wire from WMO but am selective about what I get from DGM. I think their collector’s club is geared to the hard core fan, of which there are thousands. As diverse as the work is by Wire and its members individually I feel it has more in common than the thirty years of KC and the others bands on DGM have in common with each other. “i finally got hold of a tape of MZUI. interesting , although maybe of selective appeal....” The scariest experience I ever had with a record was when playing MZUI one evening. It had gone quiet for a while and, absorbed with something domestic, I’d forgotten there was a record on and I almost jumped out of my skin in fright when I suddenly heard some noise--I thought there was someone scratching and tearing at the door! “From: Wireviews Subject: Re: What Criteria - --- "Cambra, Robert" wrote: > I'll put it on right now. Innovation, atmosphere, "feel", whether or not it grabs you, whether it grows with repeated listens ... plus a whole bunch of other stuff :-) Craig/WV”” Ah--so the same criteria as with non-noise music. Good. I was wondering. Robert ------------------------------ End of idealcopy-digest V2 #245 *******************************
