This is a quarterly "not in any shops" CD of rarities and very alternative music. However, this may not work with Wire for a number of reasons - 1. The amount of unreleased Wire, etc stuff is, AFAIK, mostly live stuff, or versions of things we've already heard. This would be okay for a while but I think people would tire of it fairly quickly. Plus Wire don't / didn't want this stuff out anyway. 2. Expense. It wouldn't be cheap if IP is anything to go by as a benchmark. 3. If the rumours surrounding Wire's reformation are true then interest in their current activities are likely to take precidence over archive material. I think IP gets by on about 3-400 subs, each paying about £20 (~$32) per quarter for a 60 minute CD and booklet. WMO, or similar, would need that sort of number in order to make the scheme viable. Perhaps it would work, although there are other means to get out the unreleased stuff that would probably prove to be more sucessful.
