I have what appears to be an original issue of IBTABA (STUMM66) vinyl LP from Chain With No Name which included 4 postcards (still looking for two of them) and: full color insert-print with what look like *real* autographs from all 4 members (each in unique color and pen). The print is the same art as the 4 seperate postcards. Just how rare is this? I bought it in '90 or 91 in mint condition and played it 2 times since I got the cassette beforehand and the CD not too long afterwards. And, does anyone know how many original copies were released for the Document&Eyewitness CD BOX set? It had the CD (cant remember if double) plus two 3" CD's I think. Someone managed to steal this from me, so now I think I want it again, need to know what I'm up against for record shows soon. Atleast I still have the double LP; cat.#'s are confusing: WIRE D-E ROUGH29 + ROUGH 2912, think this from '87?? I already have three items up for auction (C. Newman CrammedDiscs remix interviews & ahead 7" & exploding views CD+book) and plan on doing the same with the rest of the vinyl collection (perhaps the CD items later); please email me if you are interested in these and more before placing on eBay. -I need to complete my digital collection of the other wire/related items for an underground digital archive I am developing**. Basically, if I can get a *vinyl* item on CD, I am willing to part with it now. So I am definitely interested in trades! Sincere regards, j.w.englund englund@triton.net **includes wire/related and influenced; early cure & joy division/new order; section25(ALL); factory label artists; early 4AD artists; too many others to mention... - --------------49C85B767198-- ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 28 Aug 1999 07:39:30 -0400 From: "charles / wmo" Subject: Re: Pub in UK If you are going to meet at a pub, then meet at the Whitehorse in Covent Garden - it's Wire's old "office", as Colin has explained to me.
