Ab Ovo is my favorite solo work by BG. I'm not sure how to describe it. Most of the songs are short and somewhat musical, but not in any conventional style. Highly recommended. IMO, In Esse is his worst. There was a discussion about this on the list a while back. In Esse is best described as an hour of radio static. I've listened to it a couple times out of obligation - the third track is my favorite because it's the shortest.
