I always thought it was "This one's dedicated to Lupin Ada, and it's called
12XU". And I assumed Lupin Ada was someone one of the band was shagging at
the time! I think I'll stick with my version!

Colin studied Graphic design at Watford School of Art. He didn't
complete his studies
Bruce was the audio-visual technician at the time and resigned when
Wire began performing and recording
Graham studied Fashion at Hornsey School of Art. He completed his
studies and went on to design freelance before giving it all up when
Wire starting recording Pink Flag.
Robert has no art school background although he was the singer in The
Snakes and had done some street performance art.
Suggest you all read the Wire book!!

Well to confuse things a bit more, if I remember correctly. Lou
Panetta was the manager of the Jam, who Wire were opening for. Lou
told Wire after a show, to "come back when they've improved."
But this could all be very wrong,
Robert.

Everybody Loves a History, by Kevin himself. Turns out Amazon has it, & I've
got a $5-off offer from them, & ... guess what I'm ordering in a day or 2.
