[Tito Jackson Subject: The last word on the First Letter and more... Well, i was very happy to find The First Letter in a used bin. Here Goes... Take it (which sounds like they used bits from Pink Flag), So and Slow it grows, A bargain at 3 and 20, Yeah! (which is think is the best song on it, it's a shame it's not longer) , Stop (looking at me) were all very good. It Continues was okay... and the rest of it was a bit um...well boring and plodding (lyrics are ok, it's just that the music wasn't very catchy....this is coming from someone who favors Experimental Pop though..) Even you "Pink Flag is the only Wire alblum worth listening to", types will probably like A Bargain at 3 and 20. Definetly Worth Buying.. - ------ I also purchased Oracle Tree a while back and really liked about half of the songs on it, especially the one Colin Sings on....(Coconut Grove was the big exception, it sounds like a show tune...hell maybe it is one.) Worth Buying (though i must warn you, parts of it sounded a bit like New Age to me) if you like Colin's singing so much that you'll buy a whole alblum for one song (which is why i bought it to begin with, however i ended up likeing Malka's voice as well). - ------- Is Plastic Venus going to reform any time soon? I bought Helven Park and really liked it (dare i say it rocked...in an intersting way). Have they made any other alblums or songs aside from the ones on Helven Park? - -------- Is there any chance that The Swim Tour might come to a a city or two in the U.S.??
