Dear All,

1) Robert Gotobed may not be the most versatile or technically skilled of
drummers but, when playing parts that are simple as written out, he created
a unique, dynamic and focused sense of time and musical space that made
Wire one of the most compelling bands ever. I don't know, if he starts
looking to Ginger Baker for technique he might develop a clod-hopping big
bunny sound!

2) Jack Steinmann wrote in Idealcopy #116:  "Dome?  I loved Dome.  I had
Rolling Upon My Day read at my wedding."

Brilliant!! What other song conveys in music and lyric such a calm but
ecstatic self-assured transcendence?
