Robert has a unique drumming style. True, it's minimalist and it gets old after a dozen albums. But I suspect that all of us look fondly upon his art. My apologies if I've already posted this to the group... Before Robert was in Wire, he did a handfull of gigs with some nameless punk bands. One of them - The Art Attacks - recently released their entire catalog on a CD called "Outrage & Horror". It includes one track with Robert drumming, called "Rat City". I found the CD at a local store, but you can also purchase it online at www.com4.com. Which i think has made them more respectable in my eyes (as they have less in common with "show-off" rockstars, who carry on long pointless solos simply to prove how great they are), and has made them more accessible to me.
