Again, hate to be boring, but we'd release everything IF we had the $$$ to do it. :) The best selling WMO releases? Whore and Coatings, followed by Turns & Strokes. For the record WMO releases sell in the 1000 to 3000 range. Titles like Desmond Simmons, Lewis' Pre>He and Gilbert's The Haring have sold less than 1000. LG&M is effectively sold out. Before any of you say that these seem like decent numbers, they really aren't. Most distributors would (or have) dropped a label that turns in this kind of performance. The returns on Whore nearly buried us. The 'Tamer album could happen but it is very unlikely at this point, as it would not cover its costs. Due in October/November are both P'o and Dugga, our 1998 releases. The Colin Newman CD, entitled "Vox Pop" will be released in 1999, providing he finishes the project!!! Colin is attempting to "re-record" his out-takes, demos, etc.. by re-sampling them and reconstructing. New vocals are being added where appropriate. Kind of like what Peter Hammill did on "The Love Songs", if anyone knows that album. Next year we will also release a Dome album, TBD. Then the label ceases to exists! charles/wmo - -------------------------------------------- wmo@interserv.com http://wiremailorder.com/ catalog@wiremailorder.com updated: June 29, 1998 - -------------------------------------------- ***new mailing address*** Wire Mail Order PO Box 29133 Los Angeles, CA 90029-0133 - -------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 24 Aug 1998 10:47:57 EDT From: CliveNice@aol.com Subject: Exploded Views.. Do you mean aside from the fact that it's rather amateurish and contains many typos as well as cheesy artwork and graphics? And the cover...well..I won't even go near that! :) Eric auteur@ix.netcom.com ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 24 Aug 1998 21:08:21 -0700 From: Chad Wilson Subject: RE: idealcopy-digest V1 #110 Uh oh...
