The cover is really great! If it's not available as a file yet i may scan it (it has to fit on a 1,4 MB disk...). Years (decades) ago I bought (reordered) about a dozen copies of this record for DM 5,95 or something and gave them away to friends. I might have an extra copy left (or not). While were at it: I think i have a "limited" copy of The Ideal Copy (gold instead of blue and i think there were also some with green covers). Also there was a signed postcard inlay in IBTABA so if anyone wants to see stuff like that just let me know. Maybe we should compile an archive with all covers (including bootlegs!) and solo-stuff. - - tB! ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 6 Aug 1998 08:59:30 -0500 (CDT) From: flaherty michael w Subject: Re: T-Shirts & Sneaky Pete (And here it is again) On Thu, 6 Aug 1998, Martin theBernd Schmeil wrote: > That's a good idea. I don't want to stop a discussion here: what would be your favorite Wire shirt is a good topic. But I think Charles made it clear that he won't use Wire's copyrighted material .... > Maybe we should compile an archive with all > covers (including bootlegs!) and solo-stuff. Check out Andrew's web page for the official ones. T-Shirts: I think everyone missed this point. If WMO did a t-shirt, it would NOT be a "Wire" shirt, but rather a WMO shirt. The image would more than likely be from the "Coatings" CD, or a "Dugga" shirt. 2. Rockpalast: Again, WMO would have to obtain the rights from WDR for the video. Along with transfer to some universal format (such as DVD) this is way out of our budget. Unless some benevolant benefactor has money to part with! Just to reiterate, Wire is not a commercially viable propostion. If it were, all these things would already exist. charles - -------------------------------------------- wmo@interserv.com http://wiremailorder.com/ catalog@wiremailorder.com updated: June 29, 1998 - -------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 6 Aug 1998 21:28:12 -0700 From: Chad Wilson Subject: RE: idealcopy-digest V1 #101 In this case, I think a WMO shirt with the coatings graphics would rock!
