Double that number and that would be it. So is it worth doing for the 50 or so people that want them? Wait and see. At any rate, it would more than likely be a "WMO" Wire shirt since we don't want to encroach upon Wire's Merchandise trademarks. And definately one size fits all. Does anyone know the story about John Ellis and Wire? He's Peter Hammill's guitarist in the K Group, was also in the Vapors(?) and later the Stranglers. Unfortunatly it's not the best print and on some areas is almost no colour left (that's punkrock, probably). The other one is from the UK and has the fucking IBTABA - sleeve (i hate the sleeve and record). I'd love to have a Dot Dash or Our Swimmer-shirt. I still have a 10 pound WMO coupon, and if I think I read WMO UK is gone? The last thing I want to say is that I'm a very bad trader. I owe Andrew(?) two tapes (The first one has been recorded a year ago, then my tapedeck broke and I haven't bought a new one. Meanwhile I moved and lost the address and I'm not even *sure* with whom I traded. So if you read this please reply and tell me what you sent me and i'll finally send the tapes I promised - shame on me). - - tB! ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 4 Aug 1998 10:32:38 -0500 From: "Mack" Subject: WMOT-call letters actually you can add 1 to those interrested in a WMO T tho the A-Z cover was reelCool david > At any rate, it would more than likely be a "WMO" Wire >shirt since we don't want to encroach upon Wire's Merchandise trademarks. >And definately one size fits all. > >Does anyone know the story about John Ellis and Wire? They had 2 great albums in 1977 and 1978, then split and reformed, but they had lost their originality and freshness. I didn't know he had been connected to Wire in some way. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 4 Aug 1998 09:03:50 -0700 From: Eric Nelson Subject: RE: I want a shirt with a Horse Head on it!!! But yes, I too crave an official shirt. On an even more trivial note: there's been discussion recently of Colin's Alone in Silence of the Lambs; but does everyone realise there's about 3 seconds of "Drill" in the teen flick Heathers (1988), just before Christian Slater shoots his stereo? I only mention this because I'm watching it right now on British TV. Remind me to get a life!
