Also, regarding charts both OUTDOOR MINER and EARDRUM BUZZ charted in the UK, albeit at #51 and 68 respectively. But what I NOW listen to is clearly (1.5) - the 1.5 variant being Document & Eyewitness and Turns & Strokes. I almost NEVER listen to their solo works. The 80's peroid, IBTABA in particular is still a good listen. Eardrum Buzz Video. I remember my brother telling me about when he first saw it. He said it was a really "wierd, cheap" looking Plus, Wire did only 2 tours of America. Restless said they needed to do 3 before they'd catch on, which oddly enough, would have been "In Vivo" which is my favorite video of Wire's. BTW, does anyone remember "Progressive" when it was really "Prog"? Surely by our ages we do! cks - -------------------------------------------- wmo@interserv.com http://wiremailorder.com/ catalog@wiremailorder.com updated: June 29, 1998 - -------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 30 Jun 98 11:56:07 -0400 From: Subject: Re: who are you people? >I recorded Wire when they had a playback(!)-appearence on a very >mainstream TV-show in Germany. >It was great with Colin brushing his teeth, Bruce doing gymnastics with >his guitar all wrapped in plastic and Robert sleeping with a >drummachine on his lap. >Graham was the only one taking it serious (or so it seems).
