A real series of posts to rec.music.makers.marketplace last week One drummer era 1967, can't keep a beat to save his life. $20 (US) OBO. Is this one of the ones that will pick up tempo if there are more women in the audience? If he also comes with an array of sounds, I'll take him at that price. I might be able to start a fad of Slip-Time Techno or something...... Hey, I've got a couple more I can throw in at that price... I've got one with the increasing tempo option, and one with the decreasing tempo option. There is a law of physics called Entrainment. Two similar pulses will lock together given sufficent time. With this in mind, we could use both of the ones you have to output a steady stream of 120bpm......... How can you tell if it's a drummer knocking on your door? He speeds up! ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 18 Jun 1998 17:21:19 -0400 (EDT) From: Andrew N Westmeyer Subject: Re: off topic - maybe - but then again, maybe... OK, this is getting even further off the topic, but I couldn't resist... What do you call someone who hangs around with musicians? A drummer. :) (A)ndrew Westmeyer qwerty@cmu.edu www.contrib.andrew.cmu.edu/~qwerty "What a blessing that so much of humanity is able to be alive at the same time as myself." -Cecil Adams ------------------------------ End of idealcopy-digest V1 #57 ******************************
