For a while anyway... ;) When ever I'm nervous or angry or unhappy, Carly's voice makes me calm down, and I'm peaceful again. Last night I was very stressed-out, so I put Carly's CD into the player and almost immediately happy feelings flow over and in me and embraced me. I was strong again. Btw, embrace is one of the words I've learned from Carly: "Embrace me you child..." My friends who can English much better then I do ask now and then, how I know that-and-that- English-word. I answer very often: Hum... I think that's Carly's word. Imagine that: learning English from Carly's lyrics! But I was telling you about last night... Later on my mother (over 80 years) asks me, if that CD I played was new. I said: No, it's Carly's very first one. She said: Oh yes, I sure did know that it was Carly. And how beautiful her voice is! Just wanted to tell you this! Take care, Hannele ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 13 May 2000 12:32:40 +0200 From: SOTO ARES Gustavo Subject: English learning Hello everyody Yes it's true, i've learnt english with Carly too.
